Add Employee/s via Add Multiple People

The People tab is where you can add new employees and maintain/update existing employee records. It displays the Employee List where you can see a preview of each employee’s employee information. Clicking on an employee’s name allows you to view and edit individual employee records.

To Add Employees via Add Multiple People:
1. From the Top Navigation Bar, click on Employees and you will land on the People page.


2. Click on the Add People button, and choose to Add Multiple People.


3. Click on the "Download CSV Template" button and the file to be accomplished will be automatically downloaded to your computer.



You may click on the Upload Guide to know the required details and format of the values to be added in the file.



4. Open the file and accomplish the template.


The required details are:
      a. Employee ID - can be alphanumeric
      b. Last Name
      c. First Name
      d. Email - should be an active email address as it will be used by the employee to login into the account
      e. Employee Status -  If the Employee Status is set as ACTIVE the employee will automatically receive an email to verify the account. If INACTIVE , the employee will not receive an email yet after uploading the accomplished file. The employee's status can later be changed to Active via Control Panel > Users, for him/her to receive the verification e-mail.

The abovementioned details should be complete before uploading the file. You can leave the other columns blank and update the records later on via Manual Update or Mass Update.

You also have an option to complete all the details before uploading the file. You have to ensure that if you input the base pay, the base pay unit should not be blank and vice versa. You may refer to the upload guide for the proper format and values. 
4. After accomplishing the file, go back to Salarium and click on the Choose File button, then the Upload button. The system will then start validating the file.





If there are values with incorrect format, they will be shown in the errors list.


If the file has the correct values, you will see that the file has been validated. You may review the details as well.

5. Review the details uploaded, then click on the Create button.


6. The addition of multiple people is successful once you see the employees added to the list. Only the employees with active status will appear on the list.
