Lock and Unlock Attendance Records

Locking attendance is useful if you are in the phase of processing or finalizing attendance for payroll computation. Locked attendance does not allow any attendance alteration coming from the employees’ side. Taking this extra step prevents last minute changes in attendance via filed requests. On the other hand, unlocking entries allows recently generated attendance and approved requests to reflect on employee’s attendance records.


To lock and unlock attendance from the list:
1. From the Top Navigation go to Time and Attendance > click Attendance Computation tab.


2. Tick on the entry that you would like to lock or unlock.


3. Click on More Actions, either choose Lock or Unlock.


To lock and unlock attendance from individual employee attendance:
1. From the Top Navigation go to Time and Attendance > click Attendance Computation tab.


2. Locate the entry, then click on the View button or simply tick on Lock/Unlock toggle switch.
