What is Employee Self-Service Page?

ESS Features

Salarium Employee Self-service is a platform for employees to clock in and clock out for work, file requests, and view payslips. Below are the different ESS features available:
  1. Web Bundy Clock for remote clocking in and out via a computer or mobile device.
  2. ESS Calendar that displays approved leaves, payday, attendance, and shifts.
  3. Paperless filing of requests for approval
  4. Automated multi-level approval workflows
  5. Attendance Records, Shifts, and Employee Profile Information display
  6. Announcements that display read receipt status
  7. Downloadable Payslip every pay run
  8. Team Shift Management

ESS User Interface

ESS Dashboard

The ESS Dashboard is the landing page upon logging in. It provides quick access to the facility’s different features. The dashboard contains the following features:
1. Top Navigation
      a. Notification Bell
      b. User Menu
2. Side Navigation
3. Basic Information
4. Web Bundy
5. Attendance Records with a quick link to the Calendar
6. Requests



ESS Dashboard Navigation

Top Navigation Bar

  1. The Top Navigation Bar contains the Side Menu, Notification Bell, and the User Menu.
  2. Clicking the Side Menu Icon displays the primary access points going to ESS pages.


Side Menu

The Side Menu serves as the primary access point going to the other ESS pages such as:
    1. Approvals
    2. Requests
    3. Announcements
    4. Payslips
    5. Calendar
    6. Teams


User Menu

  1. The User Menu contains the following options:
    1. Profile Information
    2. ESS Tutorials
    3. Admin Page (if the employee's user role includes permission to access the Admin Page)
    4. Logout


Basic Information

The Basic Information displays the employee's name and current position.


Web Bundy

  1. The Web Bundy is used for clocking in and out.
  2. This also has a Tag feature that allows you to enter a keyword upon clocking in to track hours spent on an ongoing project. These tags appear on the time records. 

Attendance Records

The attendance records display the following information:
  1. Date
  2. Total Hours Worked
  3. Assigned Shift
  4. Quick Link to the Calendar page


  1. view more button displays the employee's clock in and out records of the selected day


The employee can shift the view from one day to another by clicking on the arrow left/right. This allows the employee to check the previous dates and if there is a need to file for a specific request.

Requests

It contains quick links to the different requests that an employee can file.
