When an employee is either promoted or had a high-performance evaluation, the basic salary is adjusted and will take effect on a specific date.
Add Basic Pay Adjustment
To add basic pay adjustments:
1. From the employee's 201 profile, clik on the Basic Pay Adjustments tab in the side navigation.
2. Click on Edit.
3. Click on Add Basic Pay Adjustments.
4. Fill all the required details including:
- New Basic Pay
- Base Pay Unit
- Effective Date
You may also fill both the Adjustment Date and Reason for Adjustment fields for your future reference. Then, click on Add.
5. The new basic pay is already added and will be prorated depending on the adjustment date.
If there will be a new basic pay for the employee after a certain period, you have to follow the same process.
The Basic Pay Adjustments can also be done via Mass Update, however, the effective date will be the date when the file was uploaded. You can later on change the effective date to the correct one by editing the basic pay.
When accomplishing the mass update template, you will only need to retain the following columns:
- Employee ID
- Basic Pay
- Base Pay Unit

Edit Basic Pay Adjustment
To Edit the basic pay adjustments:
1. From the employee's 201 profile, clik on the Basic Pay Adjustments tab in the side navigation.
2. Click on Edit.
3. Click on the Edit button across the row of the basic pay to be updated. You will only need to edit a basic pay adjustment if you have incorrectly input data in certain fields.
4. Edit the fields to be updated, then click on Update.
5. The changes are already saved.
