Activate User

Activating a user will trigger an email for the employee to verify the Salarium Employee Self-Service account. Users with Active status can access Salarium after going through verification. In terms of payroll, an employee will still be included in the payroll even before or not undergoing verification. 


To activate a user via Control Panel:

1. From the top Navigation, click on the User Menu and choose Control Panel.

2. You will land on the Subscriptions page, then, expand the side navigation panel by clicking on the arrow on top of the list.


3. Open the Users tab.


4. You'll be directed to the User Management Page and you will see the following details:
- License Details
- List of ALL users across companies, including these details:
      - Name
      - Email
      - User Role
      - Status
      - View Button
 

5. Scroll down to locate the User List, or you may use the search field as needed.


6. After searching for the user/s, change the status from Inactive to Active by clicking on the status button.


To activate users via Batch Update:

1. From your Top Navigation Bar, click on the Employee Records Management page.


2. Filter the Inactive employees and you may export first the list of all inactive employees. Open any of the downloaded files later on.


3. Click on the Batch Update button.


4. Ensure that you are in the Personal Information tab, then click on the Download button.


5. Open and accomplish the downloaded CSV file template:

      a. Delete the columns starting from column B. Column A should be retained.
      b. Copy the Employee IDs of Inactive employees from the exported 201 files and paste them on the downloaded CSV       template to be uploaded.
      c. ADD another header by typing "Employee Status".
      d. The value to be entered should be "Active"
      e. Save the file.

6. Click on Choose file button and select the accomplished file. Then, click on Submit.


7. The system starts to validate the file.


8. Wait until you see the SAVED status.


9. After the file has been saved you may go back to the Employee Records Management page to check if the employees are already in the active filter.

Immediately inform the employees to access their registered email to verify the account.
