Deletion of a Salarium Account will erase all the data
created. This action can be initiated by a user with a Company Owner role with
or without ESS Access. All accounts can be deleted regardless if they are still
in the Trial Period or already in the Live Billing Cycle.
There are different reasons why a Salarium Account
will be deleted.
When a company decides to create a new account without deleting the old one, the user who will initiate the signup process for the new account will encounter an error if the email that he/she will use has already been used with the old one. An error will also be encountered when adding the other users since the system detects if an email already exists in the server.
Once an email address of a user is used, the same email address can no longer be re-used with another Salarium account. The administrator/s should use a new email address when adding the same users to the new account. The other options are to change the email address in the old account, or the whole Salarium account should be deleted for the email addresses to be re-used.
The account deletion does not happen right away. After the successful initiation of the account deletion, the administrator/s will still be given 5 days to access the account before all its data is wiped out. This will allow the administrator/s to export all of the important data, and to even cancel the account deletion.
After the 5-day buffer period, the account can no longer be
accessed by any user and the data are non-retrievable.
