Add Leave Types

Different types of leave can be created based on your company policy on leave. This part of the leave settings allows you to create a leave type that is payable or a type that requires leave credits.You can also set a required attachment for each leave type.

Add Leave Types 


To add a Leave Type:
1. From the Top Navigation Bar, click Settings > Leave Settings > Leave Types.


2. Click Add Leave Type.


3. Enter Leave Type Name and abbreviation.


4. Type in the required documents for the leave type.
    • The employees will not be able to file a leave unless a file is attached upon filing the leave request or the particular leave type.

    • If the field remains blank, this will not require attachments from employees upon filing a leave request for the particular leave type.



5. Tick Yes if the Leave Type requires leave credit. If not, tick No.


6. Set Leave Type as payable by ticking on Yes. If not, tick No.


7. Click Submit.


    • Upon clicking Submit, you will see the added Leave Type appear on the list.




After adding Leave Types, employee entitlement to a specific leave type can be set under the Employee page.
