Add Filed Leaves

Filed Leaves

Filed requests by employees are stored and managed on the Leave page under the Filed Leaves section. An admin with appropriate permissions can add, view, edit and delete filed leaves. Added information or any alteration also appears on the employee’s ESS and affects employee’s leave credit standing. It is recommended that request go through the workflow by letting approvers take action regarding the request.

Add Filed Leaves

To Add Filed Requests (Manual Entry):
1. From the Top Navigation Bar, click Employees > Leaves > scroll down to see Filed Leave.


2. Click on the Add Filed Leave button.


3. Choose the Manual Entry option.


4. Enter or Select the necessary initial information:
    • Employee Name or ID
    • Status
    • Leave Type
    • Start Date
    • End Date


5. Enter the necessary initial information.
  1. Start Time
  2. End Time


6. Click on the Submit button.
    • The filed leave record is saved and is displayed in the Filed Leave list.


To Add Filed Requests (Batch Upload)
1. From the Top Navigation Bar, head to Employees > Leaves > scroll down to see Filed Leave.

2. Click on the Add Filed Leave button.


3. Choose the Batch Upload option.


4. Click Download Template.
    • The CSV file template will automatically be downloaded on your computer.


5. Open the file and accomplish the template. You may click on the upload guide link found above the Download Template button.


6. After accomplishing the template with the filed leave details, under Step 2, click on the Choose File button.


7.  Attach the updated template and click Upload to proceed to data validation.



8. Once validated, a summary of the filed leaves is displayed. Click on Submit. 
    • The filed leave records are displayed in the Filed Leave list.
